s Lead Risk Officer for Third-Party and Operational Risk, Hope Newman helps Inspire Trust identify and mitigate risk across the organization's vendor relationships and operational functions. Hope believes that effective risk management is a shared responsibility — that everyone, regardless of their role, plays an important part in keeping the bank and its clients safe every day.
Hope brings 19 years of broad banking experience to Inspire Trust, with a career that spans retail branch management, trust operations, control and self-assurance testing, and risk management. Most recently, she led a comprehensive initiative to build and develop a robust third-party risk program covering 3,000+ vendors in the fiduciary space — a significant undertaking that reflects both her operational depth and her commitment to building scalable, lasting risk infrastructure.
Hope is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Florida, further strengthening her ability to meet the evolving demands of today's risk landscape.
Outside of work and study, Hope is an avid traveler who has visited 18 countries and 30 states, and she is passionate about giving back through volunteer work.
